I have spent my time in advertising bringing ideas of every size, shape and sensibility to life across all platforms. My career began in the early aughts when I got word that JWT was looking for a copywriter in their newly created Interactive Department whereby I dropped the baby whose life I was saving and answered the call. After spending the first couple of years cutting my teeth on 12k banner ads and these things called “microsites” for clients like Merrill Lynch, J & B Whiskey, Lipton and Lubriderm, I was given the opportunity to work on TV, print and radio briefs for those clients and more. This excellent turn of events enabled me to become what I humbly refer to as, the first integrated creative working in the field of advertising. Just ask Bob Jeffrey, he'll back me up. I left JWT in 2008 as a creative director with ample experience managing clients and young creative teams, as well as my own fears that one day my creative wellspring would dry up. So far, it hasn't. As a freelancer I have worked on everything from tampons to toothpaste and from big banks to big booze. I have won a few things (not nearly enough according to my mother) lost a few things and seen many of my creative children get genetically modified beyond recognition. What you see on my site is the stuff that survived and was worth sharing (or so say I). In an age where you are likely to see 50 names in the credits for a hashtag idea, allow me to say that everything you see here - love it or hate it - had something to do with me.
